Hay there, do you know why your hair is dry and brittle. That may be the best place to start as there may be issues that may need to be addressed that are contributing to the dryness.

If your hair doesn't need proteins, perhaps you should stop using coconut oil. It can perform like a protein/ strengthener on hair.

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner (the shampoo has sulfates but it is really moisturizing)
Hair One Cleansing Conditioner (a sulfate-free cleanser: cleanses the scalp and deposits a ton of moisture)
Tresemme Naturals Moisturizing Conditioner

...just a few for you to try :) The Herbal Essences and Tresemme are available at most drugstores. The Hair One is available at Sallys.

Shampoos & Cleansing Conditioners
As I Am Naturally Coconut Co-Wash Cleansing Conditioner
Creme of Nature Argan Oil Moisture & Shine Shampoo
Elasta QP Creme Conditioning Shampoo

Deep Conditioners
Elasta QP Intense Fortifying Hair Conditioner (has a small amount of silk protein, but is very moisturizing)
Shescentit Avocado Conditioner

Leave-ins
As I Am Naturally Leave-in Conditioner
Darcy’s Botanicals Daily Leave-in Conditioner
Darcy’s Botanicals Transitioning Hair Creme
Oyin Hair Dew (smells like old fashioned syrup, but is very moisturizing)

I would also recommend that you stop using the coconut oil given its highly penetrative nature and its ability to reduce the amount of protein loss in hair (plus, it can make the hair feel hard in colder temperatures).
