Plugging in Ur Pibbs...

Thinking about investing in one...can you plug it into any old outlet or do you need the ones that are made/grounded to accomodate bigger appliances? Also, i see most ppl have the 514 - anyone have a different Pibbs and been pleased or is the 514 really where it's at...

has anyone else ever blown a fuse while drying under the dryer,microwaving food, with the ceiling fan blowin.... and that's with a sally's cheap hood!
