I use baking soda and water to clarify and it does not leave my hair hard or stripped at all. I got the recipe from Motowngirl.com.

Off Topic: Mrs. Houston I want that cute little baby!!!

A natural remedy...cool.

Thanks!

CO-SIGN!!!:yep:

I love the way the BS wash/ACV rinse make my hair feel- light & Shiny:grin:!!!

I follow-up w/ Hemp condish, SAA leave-in, CSI.

Bouncin' & behavin' hair (finally)!!!!

& OOOOO- give me that baby!!!! What a CUTIE!!!!

Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo works great for me. I love cones, so I have to make sure I chisel that stuff off of my hair on a regular basis.

I use baking soda mixed with water to clarify and it is working great for me. I plan on following it with an acv rinse at my next wash.

I use Pantene clarifying shampoo LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE IT:yep::yep:

I use Lush's Big shampoo or Max Green Alchemy's Shampoo :yep: They work fantastically well, except the MG has all organic ingredients and does a better job without the use of sulfates.

I have been wanting to try this. Have you tried the co by chance? If so, how is it?

I plan on ordering samples in the near future :yep:

ORS Creamy Aloe.

"It removes calcium build-up, restores moisture, gently cleans and neutralizes."

I like the Redken Cleansing creme also. I'm gonna try the baking soda again.

Im so mad! I use this one too and I just read the ingredients today. Say's it's got Dimethicone along with two others in it. Doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose?? :ohwell:

This one's got dimethicone too. WHY?!?!

I almost bought this today because I was looking for a switch from my Pantene purity (not that anything was wrong with it, I just wanted to experiment) and I saw that it had ammonium lauryl and laureth sulfates, much harsher than the sodium laureth and lauryl sufates in my pantene. So I think I'm gonna stay to my tried and true. :yep:

ORS Aloe is not hardly clarifying! Not for me, at least.

Kenra Clarifying Chelating is the one for me. One lather does the job. (but I am not a heavy cone user)

That CON Clarifying is pretty good, too. I just wish it came in bigger bottles. It is sulfate free!!!!!!!!
