Please help me pic a flat Iron....

Hiya ladies,

Since I moved to America I have had no flat iron, which I don't mind cos I can go without heat. But I would like the option to straighten as I'm transitioning and when I'm natural.

So I would have done a pole but I dont know how.

I have heard of:
Maxiglide
Chi or Fhi
Sedu
Others.

Please tell me prices and experience.

I also want a Solia. A member here purchased a Solia and a Sedu to compare the two. She said the plates felt different, one felt like glass and the other felt like marble (or something like that!) She said they both straightened the exact same way, so she sent the Sedu back since it's way more expensive than a Solia. HTH!!!

i bought a one inch sedu this summer and i love it, i got it from folica.com and it was 100 or 115 with free shipping and a free iron holder, i really like the results it got my hair straight and shiny, it has an adjustable temperature control that ranges from 250 to 410 my only problem with it is that the outside gets really hot other than that its works great for my hair

i have a solia and i really like it. however i do really want to compare it to the FHI. my solia was about 85 from folica.com.
