I too have done the shower AND sink. My choice: the shower. Because of new growth it is easier to style and detangle my hair after letting it hang down in the shower, versus flipping it forward in the sink.

My hair dosen't care; sink, shower, outside water faucet:lol: whatever works.

I guess that makes me fortunate. (but I do use the shower except on relax days and DC days)

I very rarely wash my hair in the shower because I don't like getting my hair products on my body.

I wash my hair in the sink to. I just section my hair down the middle and plait one side while I wash the other side. Once I finish one side I'll plait it with conditioner and start on the other side. same step when rinsing out the conditioner. Same method for the shower.:D

Hey Gradygirl!

It is when you braid your hair before washing. For me I braided my hair in 4 big braids and secured the ends with my pony tail holders/scruchies (them things needed to be washed anyways). Then I washed my hair in the braided sections. This cuts down on tangles because the hair really doesn't move out of place. I hope I made it clear.
Thanks MizaniMami I'm going give that method a try to see if it will help with my tangles.

Okay, tried to wash in the shower this weekend.

TRIED.

I think I'm sticking with the sink.

Jumped in the shower to rinse out my presoak and wash my hair. The tub became so slippery that I almost, ALMOST fell and cracked my skull.

I might have to try it in my dd's shower that has the littel rubber sticky things on the tub floor to keep my 4yo from falling and cracking her skull. (Don't know why I put them down, 'cause she will stand on the tub edge and jump into the water like she is in a pool).

I guess I may need to go and invest in some bly duckies for my shower stall.

that's funny, cause I feel you mizani...i'm scurred too. I guess i never got over the shower scene from'The Shining'. LOL. I can't give u advice because i wash faithfully in the sink. but i will say that my sink drain is sooo clogged up that my hubby refuse to use my sink and it is really pizzing me off... So that is a good reason...
