I just make a part in front where I'll want it when I'm finished and then roll the pincurls up. I pin them down with a regular bobby pin. I made about 14 pin curls (haphazard, no even parts) and left them in overnight.

Next time I may use some sort of styling product for hold, however.

Just do it! It's super-easy and if they don't come out right, you can always make a lovely curled bun.
