Sorry;

I don't think you can access the pics; I'm trying to find out what the problem is... If anyone is getting the album, pls. post and let me know! Thanks! /images/graemlins/confused.gif /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hi Lindy,

I was looking at your hair in the pictures and was wondering if your hair isn't more a type 2b or 3a hair instead. I have combination type 4a/b hair, and your hair doesn't look like mine. Just wondering. /images/graemlins/wave.gif

Hi Pebbles,

Hmmm. I don't know! Definitely not a 2b, are you kidding??? MAYBE a 3B, and that might even be stretching it!! I'll have to check the explanation of hair types again!!! /images/graemlins/bookworm.gif

LOL,

Hi Lindy. /images/graemlins/wave.gif I definately think that your hair type would be between the type 2 or 3 type catagories. If you don't think it is 2b or 2c, then I would say that your hair falls into one of the type 3 catagories. /images/graemlins/wave.gif

Lindy your hair looks so nice and thick. I can really see how far you have come in your hair journey. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Ooops ok, had to click on the second link you posted. I'm such a dunce. /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif

Your hair is LOVELY by the way. How long did it take you to get from the short pic to the length you have now?

Your hair looks healthy and thick. It's a nice length too. /images/graemlins/smile.gif Keep up the good work!

Hi Lindy. Your and your hair look very nice!

Maybe you've posted this somewhere else, but I'm wondering how long it took you for to grow out your short cut to get to the length that you have now? /images/graemlins/scratchchin.gif

Thanks for sharing!

Great pics, Lindy! Pretty hair, pretty face!

And I have to agree with Pebbles here: I definitely do not believe that you are a 4a/b.

Here's to Health, length and happiness! /images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Aaaaw!!! Thanks, you guys, for all the compliments!!! I just love this forum; everyone here is SO supportive!!! /images/graemlins/cheers.gif

My hair... Gosh; you guys can't even imagine the stresses I've put it through for the past 20+ years!!! I've been coloring it since high school; I've had it highlighted many times, I've used a blow-dryer weekly (up until 2 years ago); it's been dyed and fried many, many times, until it's a wonder I have any hair left on my head at all!! Anyway, a couple of years ago I decided to buy a hooded dryer, and ever since then, my hair has improved by leaps and bounds! Of course, I still can't leave that color alone, but besides that, I am GOOD to my hair!!

I had to get my hair cut short about 6 years ago, due to terrible damage due to the combination of having a relaxer, highlights and blowdrying. So, yes, it's been 6 years but of course, it hasn't REALLY taken that long to get my hair to the length it is now. If I had been taking proper care of my hair, it could have been this length years ago, I believe. I'm really amazed at the amount of growth I've gotten in the 2 years that I've been doing roller sets. When I was blow-drying, I always had so much breakage that the hair never got a chance to grow out.

In regards to my hair type. I am almost posivie that I'm a 4A. Sorry guys, but I just don't see my hair as being a type 3. Maybe the pictures are a bit deceiving, because let me tell you, when I need a touch-up, I NEED a touch-up!! It's not like relaxing is an option for me, like I imagine it probably is for Type 3 heads!!!

Thanks again for the compliments!! I'm so encouraged now!!!

Hi, nice pics! I agree your hair looks more like a 3B-4/a. It reminds me of my hair when I was relaxed....also I have many textures(I noticed them more when I went natural).
