Ladies I am thinking of texturizing the new growth I am currently relaxed with shoulder length hair I do not want the straight look all the time anymore. Can all you ladies with texturized hair place a pic or some advice on this thread. I am new hair and I am not to sure about the texturizing process

It won't work well if you are relaxed strait and do a texturizer. You would have to cut off all the relaxed hair to complete the total look. A texturizer only lessens the natural curl a little. It sounds like a texlax is what you are looking for. Just leave your relaxer on for less time.

I am sure that there are some texlaxed threads already, but you can look in my album. I texlaxed from natural though.

Why would she have to cut off her relaxed hair? Wouldn't that be going natural?

She doesn't have to cut off all of her hair at one time, but if you have bone straight ends and curly/texturized newgrowth it might not be the look she is going for. Doing things like "wash n go's" might look awkward. Texturizing/texlaxing won't change the hair that has already been processed. So over time, you'd want trim off more of the bone straight ends as the newgrowth comes in.
