Cybra, need I say how much I love your pics and hair????
Your hair truly screams health galore and you know how to bring that out well.
And you snot(!), what do you mean don't ask?
It was the first thought that came to mind when I saw your pony: "Hmm...how does she do that?"
Guess I have no other choice but to show up at your door uninvited to see for myself then.
So be afraid, m'dear! Be very afraid: Sometimes I do act on my threats.

Nonie, lil sis, you are a riot!!!
Glad you liked the pony...I honestly got lucky in figuring out how to make it. I guess I'll have to take my digital camera, take pics of each step, and then post it in my album. Having visual aid might help with the instructions I try to given. Hmmmm, I'll see if I can do that the next time I make a pony...I'm not taking this one apart. You're sweet, thanks for the encouragement.

very beautiful hair!! what do you use? and how many braids do you do to get your braidout to come out like that?
[/ QUOTE ]
Thank you OTCL. Well, actually, when I want to get that look I make somewhat big cornrows (so it looks thicker) in the front going in the direction I want the style to go in. Then, I just put about 15 -20 single braids in the back. I make them kinda big since I usually pick them down near the scalp. The cornrows I just take out and use my fingers to blend. I dont' want them to look too frizzy, so I don't use any tools (comb, pick, brush, etc) on it at all. I usually put in an olive oil spray sheen to give it softness and shine.
I don't know why you're too chicken to do a twa... you'd be fierce w/one I think!

I don't know girl...go figure. You are so gorgeous with your hair, and I love it so, but I guess I'm too scared it wouldn't look as sharp on me. I don't know.

Really enjoyed your new pictures!!! Your hair is beautiful and so are you. I can't get over how different you look with color pictures.
[/ QUOTE ]
Uh oh, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing
Also, one thing about the color pics verses the others, I have gained about 10 to even maybe 15 lbs since I got my new camera. After looking at the pics before I posted them, they motivated me to really stick to my diet. I don't mind gaining some, but not so much that my face starts to look round...it's like a full moon in those pics
I was hoping nobody would notices...like that was possible

I looked at your pics again, has anybody ever told you that you look like Toni Braxton ( like twins in the pic with the hat)
[/ QUOTE ]
That's exactly what I was thinking. Nice pics.

Toni Baxton...wow, what a compliment Alize, Kei, and SherryLove.
I wish I had her height, body, and money... Now I hope I can get my head through the door to go to bed...you have truly inflated it with this compliment....
J/K, but thank you for such a gracious compliment and for you encouragement. Oh, btw, nobody has ever told me I look like Toni. But I have been told, in the past, that I reminded people of Janet, I took that as a compliment too...heehee
Those are gorgeous women, I'm flattered (she says, while sliding her feet sideways and leaving the room)

Supergirl, girrrrl you are way too funny
I was cracking up at your post. I'm really not all that, honestly. And you are so beautiful, and have such gorgeous hair, I can't believe all the "props" you give me. I am truly flattered.
Thanks SHG and godzooki for your words of kindness. You're both sweet...all they ladies on this forum are dear to me.
Thanks ES. I primarily use Neutrogena products on my face and around my eyes. I also use Loreal's toner (no alcohol in it). One thing I don't do is use wash cloths on my face...big mistake many people do...it is damaging to the skin. I use my hands and ALWAYS use upward stokes to wash. I also do complete facials most Saturdays. I have a grapeseed oil mask that I use, but I also make a mask by mixing egg whites (which I buy in a cartoon at the market) with MOM. It' works like a charm with closing pores. Also, I always finish my facial washes (morning and night) with a very cold rinse (even adding ice during the summer months to the rinse). I ALWAYS...ALL SEASONS wear a sunblock, being sure to use a higher SPF during summer months (30 or higher). And if I should get a pimple, I use pure Vitamin E or Vitamin K on it right away to avoid scarring later.
