I have finally managed to post pictures of my progress since joining the board just over a year ago. I am very happy with my progress! Thank you so much for all the advice I have gleaned from these pages. I can hardly wait to see what happens over the next year. Thanks to you all!

Thanks to you all! KAddy and Nicki6, if I can do it, you can do it. Dontspeakdefeat, you and your hair progress have truly been inspiring! If all of you ladies, newbies and old timers had not been here to post your successes and your failures, I would not have been as likely to keep on working at it and I fully credit this board and the ladies here with keeping me on track. I have been in a phony pony for a year, darn it! I started to notice a bit of damage from that, so now, I just clip it into a claw or banana clip or something. No manipulation at all.

We have our own little world here with our own acronyms and phrases, like "no poo." I have to hold my sides laughing so hard sometimes. I love the boards even after a year and hope to see next year end with bra strap hair!


Peachtree, it is so good to see your "peach tree" avatar again. I hope we see some more "old timers."

Speaking of old, I am probably one of the oldest (age-wise) members if not the oldest, here. There is something to be said for taking care of yourself. It always shows. Anyone can have healthy hair, once they know how.
