Picking

Okay, so I have a sew in, and have had sew ins for about seven months now. I always leave a little of my hair out on the sides and back of my hair line. And, I have this weird complulsion with picking at my hair! I can't stop! I'm like obsessed with the feel of my natural hair. I stop everytime I catch myself doing it, but its already caused some major breakage on the left side of my kitchen! I think I could have stunted the growth permanently there. erplexed Does anyone else have this issue, and, how much damage do you think I'm really doing???

What do you mean? How exactly are you picking at it? Are you saying that you're pulling at the hair that you left out?

Yeah, I'm pulling and twisting at it constantly. I can't seem to break the habit!

I have that problem too. Sometimes I don't even realize I'm doing it.
