I might have to do a strand test with both. I want to use phyto and I usually go by my gut feeling and I am feeling phyto.

My hair burns like it is on fire with lye, I think. My mum use to use revlon back in the day and I would e crying very badly, but she thought I was over exagerating becasue it didn't ever use to hurt her, so she would make me have it on for a while for my resistant hair to lay flat...

I am scared or burning although people are saying they don't burn with sillk E.
 
Stupid question:

What's the diff between lye and no lye? Is Mizani a lye relaxer?
