I thought they were discontinued too but they arent. They are on sale at CVS for 3.12!!!YAY! I yanked up just 2 of them but I need to go back!!!!!!Ima wash my hair tonite cant wait!!!!!

I love this mask also. i went to Walmart and bought 5 of them at one time. They make my hair sooooo soft. I also mix it with a bit of coconut oil.

BTW I'm not sure if they are discontinuing the mask with the hydrating line, but it's the EXACT SAME THING.... And the other one is cheaper. Both by Pantene.

Foxie, can you post a pic of the one you speak of here please? Thanks honey.

Are you sure about that? I read that the Relaxed and Natural line had a few oils and things that made it a bit better than the regular mask.

I love this mask. My hair feels incredibly moisturized after I use it...I keep seeing it restocked at walmart and other places so I'm not sure if they're discontinuing it:ohwell:

I bought this at Target recently. I saw it on clearance at CVS. There was 1 left. But Target was fully stocked.

They sell it on amazon.com also.

The protein in the mask is the "Pantene Amino Protein Complex" of Lysine HCI, Methyl Tyrosinate HCI, and Histidine.

Target in may area still stock them.

I also mix mine with coconut oil. I slept in it last night and washed it an hour ago.

I know Pantene is supposed to be like death for the hair because of the ingredients but I just love the slip.

I love the Pantene DC Mask. Even though I can be a PJ, Pantene products have always been a staple for my hair in some form or fashion over the years. I bought a jar of the DC Mask a while back but only used it a couple of times. I decided to use it with a plastic cap and hooded dryer and the difference was undeniable to me. Less breakage and soft hair. Will use again for tomorrow's weekly DC.

These are okay and are quite mild and they are further down the ingredients list anyway. I'm relaxed and our hair needs a little protein in about everything we use on it for strengthening anyway. These ones are on the mild and moisturizing side anyway like silk amino acids and that is why it seems to work so well on our hair. Just checked.

I know that there are a few people who say that their hair is protein sensitive but in actuality everyone's head of hair need some protein in it. Believe it or not aloe vera gel is a protein gel and I see tons of ladies here using it on their hair even the ones who say their hair is protein-sensitive. FYI - too much moisture can be just as damaging to our hair as too much protein:yep:.

My hair hated this stuff. It had no slip for me. My hair was very very angry with me for using this mask. After I rinsed it out my hair was soooo dry. I don't know what happened. The regular Pantene mask works well for me. Not this one. It was so bad that I won't even try it again. Gave it to my mother.

I got 10 jars of this right now in my bathroom.

If the price is right, go for it.

I have eight 32 ounce bottles of Cream of Nature shampoo. I just went to Sally's yesterday, and they still have a lot left. If I had of known that, I wouldn't have bought four more bottles back in June. After all, this is my secondary shampoo. At $5 a bottle, I couldn't beat that.:yep:
