. I was wondering do you ladies think you waste alot of hair care products stating the fact that you wash your hair on a daily basis? I know you have to keep your hair moisted but, do you get tired of adding oils and such and then the next day have to pre-wash or wash your hair? Do you think you spend more money then those who only wash their hair every 3-4 days out the week

I find myself in the hair store just about every day even if it's just to look and I do compare prices so when I have to pick up something I'll go for the cheaper brands.

How often do you ladies hit the hair store for products sense you pre-wash or wash your hair daliy. just wondering

I was just talking to my neighbor about that yesterday (I converted her to a daily hair washer). I go through alot of products. But I go through my leave-ins more than anything. I have to replenish my regular products about 3 times/month. I have found that Jason's Naturals' shampoos/conditioners last much longer than many of my regular ones though.

I was actually thinking about this in the shower while I was doing my daily conditioner wash last night. It's getting pretty expensive, but ultimately if we want promising results, sometimes we have to come out of pocket for it. I visit the BSS 2 - 3 times a month. I've been trying to stock up so as not to find myself visiting any more than necessary. In the end, it's all worth it...I can already tell.

Not for me. I have tons of stuff I need to use up. I also only use cheap conditioners (suave, pantene, dove) for co washes. That is unless I'm trying to use up other stuff. Since I know I'll be rinsing again the next day, I only add some leave in and a little oil to fix my hair into a ponytail.

I really don't put a lot of oils on my hair, unless my scalp might get dry. But I love doing CO washes or just rinsing my hair on a daily basis. I'm with Armyqt. I buy the cheap stuff, i.e. Suave, VO5, etc. I'm not that frugal when it comes to spending a lot of money on every hair care item you buy. Whether you're at your local discount department store, drug store, supermarket or BSS. Results matters, and your hair will benefit from it. Toodles

Well, for me it is not really costly because I use inexpensive conditioners such as Suave Humectant or Pantene. I wish I could go even cheaper, but the Suave Naturals and V05's are just too watery and don't work on my hair. One drawback that I am having with doing the daily cw's is that it seems as if my hair stops responding to to them faster. Meaning, I have to switch up what I use every other week almost or else my hair won't act right.

once a blue moon....and i dont really use any oils...I daily wash with conditionner and yesterday i went to teh pharmacy to get 2 bottles of conditionner which was 2 for 3$ and im sure im not spending more money than others that wash their hair less than I do. when I wash i shake and go add my ic fantasia gel and spritz surge to my roots and im ready to go . 3 products thats nothing and very simple!

Same here, I only have to frequently buy my conditioner and the hot 6 oil that I use daily, but so far I've only had to buy them twice a month. By applying the oil to my hair right after I get out of the shower and towel blot my hair semi-dry, I'm able to seal in the moisture from the water that's still in my hair and my hair stays conditioned all day (leaving it in a ponytail helps too).

Well I'm using suave or VO5 just for conditioner washes. I decided to say the expensive when I do my shampoo wash and deep conditioner once a week.

I just bought some VO5 Oasis and there’s a 1.50 coupon this week at Walgreen’s. So basically I just paid 79 cents for it. Cheap!

Not really. It takes about a month and a half for me to use an entire bottle of conditioner 444ml (15 fl oz). As for oils...I buy 500 ml of coconut oil..and 300 ml of Vatika. It takes me a while to use up the oils.

I switched to cheapy conditioners...and they work just as well as the expensive ones.

I buy econo-sized everything. I just bought the 38oz bucket of CPR and Tresemme both S&C, each 32oz. I also bought the 32oz bottle of Affirm 5N1 for (eep!) $40! They won't last as long as they would if I was washing once a week but they last longer than a month. When I finish all of my products I am getting braids anyway. Then after braids, I restock all of my products.
