Oyin Honey Hemp Conditioner..... how do u likey?

Hey ladies! I tried Oyin Honey Hemp again with the tips that @SkysMommy posted and they worked really well, considering being in dry heat in the house. I added the condish before i got in the shower, left it on while i showered and then styled after getting out. My hair has been air drying and is drying very soft and moisturized. Again, I've only been in the house, but the air is still dry considering the heat has been on. I will try again maybe tomorrow when I do have to go out somewhere, but the conditions are still pretty much the same as if I had gone out and been at work all day.

I would highly suggest looking over @SkysMommy 's post and applying those tips

I have been using it since Black Friday both as a leave in and co-wash conditioner with no problems. I love it! I must mention that I always pair it with another creamy product. Like for the twists I did last night, I put the conditioner on my hair while wet and left it on then I put Darcy's Botanical Twisting Cream over it before twisting. My hair has hold but not crunchy at all.

hmmmmmmmmmm WHEN DID U PURCHASE?

& is this your 1st batch? (meaning did it seem different another time?

hmmmmmmmmmmmm:lachen::lachen::lachen: they took a little over a week to arrive (after BF)

I ordered it about a week and half before Thanksgiving (my silly self missed the discounts). Yes, this is my first time using it.

I'm going to try it again and use it pre shower as a leave in. I had such high hopes for this line and esp. this condish. I'd love to find an all natural, black owned staple(and I just fell in love with them on youtube).

My hair didn't like it at all. Used it as a rinse out and leave in. No slip/no moisture nothing as a rinse out. As a leave in dry and crunchy. After a while of experimenting with other products my hair doesn't like aloe or silk anything to be left in. I may try it again mainly because it's been over a year since I tried it and other no no products are now awesome on my hair. Go figure.

ok... S-CURL SOFTENED THAT BAD BOY RIGHT ON UP:grin:

(even when the steamer didn't... who knew... we'll see 2 morrow)

thanks so much ladies, i can't do crunch

I like it. I use it to co-wash. As a deep conditioner I pair it with with Oyin's Whipped pudding and sit under the steamer. After that I finger detangle, then go through again with a wide tooth comb in little sections and braid . After I finish I have anywhere from 14-18 braids, then I rinse with slightly warm water. After that I pat with a towel, undo each braid, apply a little shine and define with a dab of burnt sugar pomade at the ends and braid back up. I let it airdry, and viola, moisturized, soft, but defined hair.
