ORS Replenishing Pak vs. Silicon Mix

I like both for different reasons. SM softens the NG and makes comb outs a breeze, but leaves my hair feeling...light weight? It blows all over the place . Where ORS isn't quite as slippy slip but is nice and moisturizing.

3c/4a hair and ORS did nothing for me. My hair laughed at it and my throat got itchy and irritated from the strong smell! erplexed

Silicon Mix is perfection!

I havent used silicon in a while but I will try it back out tomorrow. I loved the clean shampoo/powder smell and it did make detangling easy when I was natural. Unfortunetly, I cant recall it being anything specktacular.

I've tried ORS Replenish pak 2 times lately and I HATE it. Its nice that it leaves your hair smelling like oranges but its too heavy on my hair. It leaves my hair feeling tacky. It also makes my hair look puffy like Clair Huxtable. I wont ever use it if my goal is to have straight hair.

I have tried both and while I like both Silicon Mix definitely is the winner. When my new growth is kicking MY butt, Silicon Mix kicks ITS butt. Love it!

This. ORS did nothing for my hair and Silicon Mix (Bambu) does even less. Strangely enough, I like the scent so I might mix it with another DC. They both get two thumbs down.

Well, I am 3c ( i think) and I tried silicone mix before. It was ok. Today I washed my hair and I am towel steaming with the ORS pack for the first time. So far so good, but we will see once I am done.

Luv Luv Luv ORS it is the truth. Silcon mix is ok nothing special it's ok condish, but ORS give me all i need protein and extreme softness it truly unbelieveable and it works the same every time it provides slip softness and protein what more do you need.

I agree there is no comparison, Silicone Mix gives me every thing I want in a DC softens, moisturizes, Mega slip, and lets not talk about the shine, it's crazy. I tried ORS RP twice and was not impressed.

There is no comparison. I heard so many ladies on this board raving about how well it detangled and the wonderful smell. I broke down one day and ordered it. I did a rollerset after my wash and condition and I was floored. Silicon Mix tremendously cut down my detangling time. My hair was so soft and I was able to easily comb through my new growth with little to no effort. There has not been a conditioner yet that I can find that has compared as far as detangling is concern.

I also like ORS RP but silicon mix is in a catergory all its own.

Ok so I tried the ORS Pak and I my hair didnt like it. It left a residue on my hair and it left my hair looking weighed down. But thumbs up for the smell/
