I just wanted everyone that is thinking about switching relaxers that this one is a keeper for me...I have used Affirm, Phyto, Design and others and so far, especially, for the price this gives me comparable if not better results!

I love the ORS one too....and the Replenishing Pak..omg heaven!!! It's hard to find, at least for me, but it's def. a goodie!

This is the one I intended on purchasing but ended up w/ the organics one by African pride. It has a lot of good butter and oils in can wait to try it if it doesn't work I'm definately going to goget the ORS!

Yes!! This is the last perm that I put into my hair before transitioning. My transitioning is slow because of this relaxer. It's very good, better than any of the others I have used. I regret that I used it before my transition. I usually put African Pride in my hair. Why????? Did I switch to ORS Olive Oil Relaxer right before I decided to transition?????

The perm was so good, I went and bought other products from the company. Olive Oil moisturizing lotion(This is the bomb!!!)

My aunt used this and her hair came out lovely. I considered switching to this too after I saw her results but I kinda chickened out (too scurred)! I use Motions Moisturizer Oil Relaxer I might use it for my next touch up though.

i'd love 2 try this but considering how much i work out, i'm skeptical of switching to a no lye relaxer.
do they last as long?

i considered this one the day i decided to texturize... i liked the lure of olive oil... but i chose the Organic line by Africa's Best... phenomenal success with that one but i'll probably use the Olive Oil as my backup...

I hate to put a damper on the subject. But this is a terrible product. Yes!!! my hair was beautiful when I first used it but shortly thereafter ( 1 week) my scalp began to itch and I have never had scalp problems at all. Dandruff began to appear and my scalp would itch like crazy. I wasn't sure why this was happening but as soon as I stopped using the perm I no longer had a problem. My sister and aunt found some on clearance at Target in her city because they are expensive for a kit. She said she was having the same problem. So she threw them out.

Ladies I was having down and dirty itching problems I looked like a dog with fleas at work.

Not just small flakes either I mean large nasty greasy flakes. Needless to say I don't have that problem anymore.

I am sorry about your bad experience, but personally, I wouldn't buy a relaxer that is in the clearance section. I wouldn't know how long its been sitting there, and wouldn't want to risk it not taking or having other problems.

I'm sorry you're experience with it was less than ideal. My hair loved it though. Just another example of how different products work in different ways for different people.

My relaxer was not in the clearance section.

The other products in the kit are good. I even by the conditioner alone at CVS because I love it so much.

Is the Olive Oil moisturizing lotion greasy or oily?

I wouldn't consider it greasy or oily. It's right there in the middle when I use it on my 4a/b hair. I think it depends on your texture.
