ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo

Is this a neutralizer, clairfier or regular shampoo? I notice some people say that it's in the ORS relaxer kit and it helps take care of the calcium build up?

If infact it is a neutralizer can it be used as a regular shampoo as well?

I spent some time reading the label on this the last time I was at CVS. From what I could tell, it can be used in all the ways you already mentioned. Although, I think it's more of a "demineralizer" than a real "clarifier". I don't remember if the label said it would remove product buildup (it did specifically state that it removes calcium buildup).

Ok, so it removes the calcium build from the no-lye relaxer. Does it neutralize as well?

I think so, because it comes with the ORS relaxer kit.

It also removes product build-up, calcium deposits, neutralizes, moisturizes & detangles. I use it as a neutralizer w/ my relaxer & as a calcium remover once per month. HTH

I use it as a clarifying shampoo. I didn't even know it was a neutralizing shampoo until I saw it in my friends ORS relaxer kit.

Thanks so much. Do you think the supply of it that comes in the relaxer kit is to small for someone w/ thick hair? Should I buy the big bottle to go along w/ the relaxer kit?

I remember a recent thread where a lot of posters said that the packet was too small for them, so they bought the bottle of shampoo. I'd suggest that if you even think there won't be enough neutralizing poo in the kit. Better to be safe than bald, LOL!

I bought the bottle just in case, plus I like to neutralize 4-6 times to be sure! Plus, you can always use it every month to prevent calcium buildup

NO!!! So many people say it is enough for them, but I ALWAYS need more.

Thanks ladies! I will definitely be buying a bottle of the shampoo and might as well get some replenishing paks. One packet is enough for just half of my head.
