Oprah's Great American Haircut (pics)

Wow is all I can say for some of them. I hope my looks don't go down hill when I reach my hair goal and end up back where I was .

I feel as though they covered her forehead.

The End.

The only improvements (IMO) are the man and the last lady. The second lady's hair is not found in nature- it's the color of watermelon jolly ranchers or something.

I was thinking the same thing? Could they not choose a brighter or deeper shade of red?

The last woman looks so matronly with her new haircut. I would've been H-O-T if they did that to me. :nono:

:nono: A lovely demonstration of why I do not/will not do makeovers. I would be HOT - that's a danngone shame.

apparently make-overs have to be totally dramatic on TV... whatever you have, they always feel they must go the opposite way to make you look good. oh you have long hair? let's chop it all off. oh you have short hair? let's throw a foot of weave in. curly hair? let's straighten it. whatever color your hair is... we must dye it. :lachen:

i mean, i'm all for make-overs that actually IMPROVE the person's appearance... but come on... most of these are horrible. :nono:

:lachen::lachen::lachen:Her style is cute but the color's wrong. Who's responsible for these makeovers? They prolly look HAM themselves. Some of these folks shouldask to be re-made over.:nono:

I guess this is supposed to be some kind of Victoria Beckham/Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order SVU) look?

Wow. Completely unnecessary.

The white girl really looks like Mariska Hargitay in that pic. I think the sista looked better before. They didn't have to cut her hair like that. She looks older now.

:yep: Much older. In the before pic, she looked - maybe 35? In the after pic, she looks more 45 - which is most likely her real age, and that's why they gave her the cut, because her long hair was too youthful.
Which is dumber than dishwater, cuz I betcha there was an ad for wrinkle cream on during Oprah too. :nono: Tis a damn shame.

The only one I actually consider a good makeover is the first girl, mainly because of the hair color change. The third girl looks okay, but IMO it seems like just the addition of the make-up would have had the same effect. Everything else was a downgrade :ill:

They took her from "sporty coupe" to "minivan" when they cut her hair. Now all she needs is some "Mom Jeans" and she's all set for a Polident ad.:ohwell:

Is it wrong if I say the only ones that look better for the change are the curly blonde and the guy?

Oprah....Why? Why?
