Hey Ladies!
Just wanted to say thanks for all of the encouragement and great advice that I have received from all of you over the past year! I was going through my first ever shedding period (which was terrifying), but it has finally started to slow down. So I thought this would be a good time to celebrate the little joys:] This is the longest (and healthiest) that my hair has ever been, so it's pretty exciting :]
Before LHCF (August 04):
Sorry that I don't have better pics. I didn't think to take "official" before pictures. My bangs were about eyebrow level, the front of my hair was chin level, and the back was at the nape of my neck.
After LHCF (August 05):
This was the other day after I had come back from the Dominican salon I reviewed. Can't believe how much better my hair looks and that my bangs have finally grown out
Later that same day, before going out to dinner with the boy

Think I can be at armpit level by Christmas? Maybe even BS for graduation in May 06?

Would not have even believed it possible if I had not found this board. It's so weird because sometimes I was not sure if my hair was doing anything at all, but then I looked at old pictures and I was like, "whoa... when did it do that?" When I was home this summer, my mom and my sisters kept asking me what I was doing to my hair. And my brothers kept touching it to "make sure it's not a weave..." I guess it's a compliment... or something :]
Your hair has definately come a long way! It looks great. Keep up the good haircare and happy hair growing
