one update pic.my ends are still going strong with the baggie method

Yeah I saw it last night and was thinking there she goes "sneaking" another pic in there. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif /images/graemlins/laugh.gif I was going to call you out today. You lucky /images/graemlins/cool.gif /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Looking awesome as usual /images/graemlins/grin.gif And I hear ya on the baggie thing. I have been doing it for a couple months now and my ends LOVE it. Less split ends and breakage by far. Funny for almost a year my hair grew but I only managed to salvage 1.5" but within 4 months and 2 months of that doing baggie and other protective styles I have grown and KEPT over 1". i hear ya on that...if we cannot save it all, at least we can save some..... /images/graemlins/smile.gif i still may do a slight dusting my next touch up in january 2005.... /images/graemlins/smile.gif

there are a lot of times i want to wear my hair out, but when i think about the growth i am retaining, i just go on ahead and wrap it again....

Oh my Sherry, I have never really considered the baggie method for myself until I have seen your hair. Very Very nice. Now Im thinking of my supply list for tomorrow. It's going to include baggie method stuff, lol. Do you leave it in all week or do you do it over every day.

I plan on doing it until I reach my goal of 24". Which will be 3" past the bottom of my braclasp. I'm 16 1/2" now. Hopefully I will reach my goal by this time next year....or sooner with some baggie help. /images/graemlins/wink.gif----I'll keep you posted on the progress. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Sherry you should be able to reach 34" very soon. Before you know it....it's going to be there.
 
Sherrylove, your ends are looking great. I was thinking about you yesterday, and left myself a note to get a baggie out for this morning. So, I discovered this post and I'm sitting here reading it with my baggie on ... lol!

Yep! I got it from Allandra back in '01. Then I got the phonytail thing from Adrienne. The free advice so generously given on these boards is so wonderful! (I remember you sent me an e-mail long ago too. /images/graemlins/smile.gif I was dying to know your routine after seeing your hair, and you were so willing to share.) Ok, I'm rambling. I'm happy to see your hair success. /images/graemlins/up.gif


ETA: I am definitely going back to doing the baggie trick hard core since I'm recovering from yet another SHS. Trying to find competent, *professional* stylists in Minnesota feels like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Thank goodness for this Board!

Marvelous simply Marvelous!! I have been doing the baggie method off and on now for almost a year. I have had your album in my favorites since I joined the board, and I look at it from time to time when I am getting sick of wearing my bun. Seeing your hair helps to motivate me to keep going, because the sacrifice I am making now will pay off when I have long flowing hair. Thanks for the updates!! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

IMO, to get the full benefits of the baggie method, you'd need to do it frequently. I only use it 5 days a week.

How long have you been doing the baggie methods? How long did it take you to see the results?

I think that I may have to try this when I take out my braids. I know for a fact that I can't do this every day but maybe 4 days out the week I will. Thanks SherryLove!!

I feel u Sengs! lol. Trying to get it on sometimes is better than not at all. I try to leave it on for at least the whole weekend if possible. If I have to take the bag off to go out...I just slap it back on when I get in the house. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
