How long have you've been on LHCF? How much growth have you gotten? Please respond even if you got 4 inches in 6 years, it's still really inspirational to me.

been here since the end of 2003

started transtioning, and have relapsed twice.

finally in july 2005 decided to transtion for good. my hair was about brastrap length then. ( the longest my hair had been up till that piont. for most of my life i struggled and failed to pass shoulder length, so for that i thank the lhcf family

my hair had growth to Mid back length by feb 2007 even with frequent trims to get rid of some relaxed ends.

and after a 19 month transition i chopped off all the relaxed ends on feb 23rd 2007 and ended up with underarm length hair. :O

now its 7 months after that chop, my hair is a couple inches past brastrap an on its way back to MBL in less that a yr!!

im so excited! this board has been the best thing that ever happened to my hair

i pray, i hope that by this time next year, i should be on my way to hip length!! thx lhcf!

It's been two years. My hair has been APL twice now. Looks like it's sticking this time. The first time it was scraggly so I chopped it.

How much growth have you gotten? Went from Shoulder Length to Bra Strap lenght + 2 major trims (longest layer :from 17 cm to 31 cm) i take measure from my nape area to the end of the longest layer.

i originally became a member in july 2004
(under the name TastesLikeMusic)
when the forum was still public/free

then, when it became subscription
i just lurked for a bit (ok for around 2 years lol)
i finally subscribed a few months ago!!!
and i'm back to posting. hoorah

i started my transition to natural in july 2005
(same time i re-joined here to lurk)
and chopped in november 2005
i did another chop in january 2006
and then on a whim shaved it off on april 1, 2006
actually it was really really early in the morning
like 2 am (so sometimes i just say late march/early april)

after that, i promised myself that i'd let it grow out
and not cut unless i needed to for health purposes
since then, i've made it to shoulder length
and a tiny bit past that (eventhough i trimmed 1.5 inches the other day)

lhcf and all the other hair boards i go to are definitely helpful!!

I've been on for about a year and a half. I think i've gotten a total growth of maybe 6-8 inches. I would be apl for sure if not for my cutting habit.

I've been here almost 4 years! Can't believe it. I started at shoulder lenght and I've reached almost bsl several times but stress and setbacks have left me constantly at almost bsl. I don't post pics often so it may be hard to see my progress. Right now I'm focusing on protective styles (braids and weaves) to help me get to BSL and beyond and stay there too!

I've been here for a year and one month. Been struggling with SL practically all my life. In april i finally surpassed SL and made it to APL! Now i am past APL making my way to BSL! I look forward to reaching my ultimate goal WL by the end of 08 or beginning of 09. I don't measure my hair, so i dunno how much length i retain throughout the year.

I've been on LHCF since for over 2 years. I joined just before or just after I did a BC and cut my relaxed hair off. I'm at collarbone length now. :2cool:
