I almost fell out when I saw that shipping. I'll check some stores in my area as well. I went to Sally Beauty the other day to see if they have the new Con and no luck. :nono:
 
My aunt used this in my hair once when I was in junior high, and my hair turned out beautifully. I’m sure it wasn’t just the shampoo. She was just good at doing hair. But I have to say, my hair was so silky and near perfect when she did it that one time. She used CON shampoo. I thought there was a Hair Goddess in that bottle when she was done … lol :grin: Funny I still remember that!

ETA :blah: : I was relaxed then.... she blowdried it and then used an electric straightening comb ... no damage ... just silky, straight, “swang” ... Ohhh how I would love to replicate those results

i have checked sally's, 2 bss stores, 2 walgreens, and have had no luck. im so impatient, but i just want to feel the magic of CON shampoo once more. :lachen:

Well, I placed my order for 2 bottles. I would have ordered more, but the shipping costs made me really hesitate. This shampoo better be worth it.

Thanks! I'm going to order 6 of the regular one. With the shipping it comes to about $8 each and its worth it. I will still pick up the new one when I see it as I will not get caught out there again.

BTW my mother used the ArgonCon and already washed her hair twice. I can see her using it up quickly (but she even mentioned - this is like my hair used to feel - why did you stop buying?). yeah I need to have some bottles hidden away before she uses it all.

I just found this today for 2.99. I only purchased 2 bottles, but I should go back and get more before "someone" :look: from here swipes the rest.:lol:

They also had the ENTIRE CON argan line: shampoo, conditioner (full size bottle), leave-in spray, Oil moisturizer, and of course the "serum"/oil, and some foam stuff. I think there was something else, but I can not remember.

bklynbornNbred Please keep us updated about the results when the shipment arrives. I would order some too but I am always skeptical of sites that charge more than the product itself for shipping. I'm also a bit skeptical because I don't know how long they've kept the shampoo and if the quality is still the same. Keep me updated. I may consider ordering a bottle if your experience is positive.
 
Yeah I'm waiing for results this was the only shampoo I used that didn't dry out tangle or mess up my hair when they stopped selling it I went conditioner only.
If it's still the same original I might consider trying it.

It's the old bottle. I used to use one with the green label but I remember this one as well. I can't remember what the difference was, maybe marketed for color treated hair or something....i can't remember but I've used it before and I think I remember it being the same as the green.
 
I saw the products in Walmart today and had to put back several of the items in my cart so that I could purchase a ton of Intensive Conditioning Treatment Packets!! with my luck, they'd be gone when I came back smh...

I just checked it isnt working for me either and I tried a diff product just to see and nothing maybe they're shopping cart is not working or they're not selling anymore I'll check again during the week. there is another link posted earlier for another site (texas beauty supply) that sells the same original con. hth

I guess I will try the new version when I absolutely cannot find the old formula anywhere.

I washed my hair that same night (of course!) and I fell in love all over again. :lick:

I ordered 6 to make the shipping worth it but now you all have me nervous with the website acting crazy. I received an email confirming my order but it hasn't been updated with actual shipping information. :ohwell: I'll let you all know what happens.
 
FYI ... The Green & White Bottle

If you are concerned about the expiration date, you can call CON. There is a code on the very bottom of the bottle in black. Give them that number and they will tell you if it's expired and well beyond shelf life.

I just called and the 2 bottles that I purchased are beyond shelf life. I think she said that the shelf life of their shampoos, at least this one is 2 years.

I just obtained some of the original formula and it is as fabulous as I remember! Why did I stray from that!! I did discover that Creme of Nature shampoo and the old Milk plus Six are one and the same save for the SLS and keratin in the latter.
 
@ljbee LHCF'ers strike again! I called today about my order and it turns out they are completely out. My $$ was refunded. Guess I'll have to troll the local BSS and grab up all of the new version for now.

luckygirlin you may want to edit your post and remove the link so other people don't order. If I hadn't called I don't know when they would have refunded my $$ - paypal did it immeadiately but still....

bklynbornNbred Yeah, I've learned that when deals online sound too good to be true, they usually are. Sorry about your experience, maybe you will find a local store that still carries the original version. Good luck and thanks for keeping me updated.
