Omg how could I miss this!
My favorite is OLAPLEX #6 and I use this no matter what other product I’m using! It’s a leave in that will change ur life. Whether it’s a wash and go or blow dry! It’s worth the coin.

But… I use
0,
3,
4,
5,
6,
7,
8,
9.

I’m in love with #6….

Bought:
Palmer's Amino Bonding Oil Complex a few weeks ago. It's a great "dupe" for #7.

4.2 oz instead of 1 oz. Ten Bucks instead of Thurty :twocents:

Smells amazing, doesn't linger and works well. I use it the exact same way I was using Ola-P7

Today:
Used: 0 & 3
Used: Garnier Bond Filler Strength Repair Serum (as a dupe for #7) didn't know it wasn't an oil, and more of a serum.

I wanted an Oil like #7 or Palmers instead of a serum. But Imma rock with it and use it up.

Finally finished up my last bottle of No. 0. Still don't think this does anything so will probably never ever repurchase. No. 3 on damp hair is essentially the same.

I want to try the curl bonding treatment out.

I hope Bondbar dupes it Lolol

Anyone try the leave in out? I think it’s number 5?

Then leave in conditioner( number 5 ) was creamy , light and sank in after applying. Slight slip to detangle and my hair blowdried soft after

I’ll see how my hair feels the second time I use it. Consistent use seems to be the theme with Olaplex and Bondbar.

I used the Rich Hydration Mask a week ago. It says to keep in it for 10 minutes which is what I did as I showered. It sank in and my hair was soft after rinsing out. I’ll try the fine one in three weeks to see which one If I prefer over each other.

I ordered the Weightless Nourishing Mask. I don't have a ship date yet but I hope it is here by the end of the month. I also have the Bond Smoother sample coming which I will try out when I blow dry.

I don't usually notice any difference in my hair with mask or deep conditioners and I've used many over the past 10 years. I also tried several of the different Olaplex products when they first were available to non-stylists and I didn't have any noticeable results from those either. So I'm hoping that both of these products actually show me something.

We shall see.

I did like the thickness of the Olaplex weightless moisture mask. I'm not sure I can tell a difference at this point. I will try using it every other week to see if I notice a difference over time. It is unusual. I usually don't notice much benefit from masks or deep conditioners :ohwell:

The only thing that I have noticed with Bondbar and Olaplex is you must use consecutively/consistently .

I think I’ve been using Bondbar shampoo and conditioner going on two years soon. I’ve been alternating Olaplex 4n1 , Bondbar Hydration Mask and Olaplex mask for a year. @faithVA

Ok. I need something simpler. The bondbar adds too many extra steps. I can deal with the masque. Usually anything that doesn't work in the first 3 months doesn't end up working for me.

But its good to try a few things to narrow things down.

I only use 4 products. Shampoo conditioner deep conditioner and a leave in conditioner on wash day.

Maintaining my scalp is a spritz and oil and the jelly from SSI . I rotate spritz’s and oils

Takes me 20 minutes to wash my hair and 30 minutes to blow dry. @faithVA

Understood. My regular wash days are fast. But I use permanent color so I have sessions that require bond treatments and/or protein. That is what I was using the bond bar far. And when I plan to use heat then I do bond treatment, protein and deep conditioning. That is why the bondbar bonding products were too much.
