I posted some pics in my fotki (no password needed) but I'm not at all thrilled about the results. I didn't seem to get much length!!

Ok..I hope this works (first time posting so the pics are not in order ).

The first pic is from yesterday (4/1) second pic is from January 3 and last pic is from the beginning of my journey (all pics taken with my camera phone). Looks like i don't have much growth from Jan to April but I am in desperate need of a relaxer and will probably get one at the end of the month. I thought I would wait to post until then but I got caught up in the reveals .

Looks good ladies. I'm posting pics but I don't have growth to show because I've been keeping my hair trimmed by 1/2 to an inch at every relaxer due to the 8 months of shedding and recently breakage.

This challenge was a great experience for me and I really got a chance to experiment with airdrying and low tension, low manipulation styles. I'm retaining length, so I will join the next 3 month hide your hair challenge. Honestly, I cheated several times, but wore my hair bunned about 90% of the time.

I was supposed to be doing homework. I had 2 essays to do and I also had to create a database table....so I was rushing...sorry mami That's why I came in today to see who I missed

Thanks Rabia!!! It has filled in pretty good by me keeping it cut cuz the shedding was really threatening the health of my hair. I still have to recover from 8 months of massive shedding but I'm hanging! Thanks again lady!

I would love to join this challenge but i was wondering if braidouts/twistouts/bantu knots are considered protective styles since your ends are still exposed. If they aren't protective styles then i guess i can't do the next challenge.

BTW, you ladies made great progress! That might be the motivation i needed to join the next challenge.
