Put in your thickest, most slippery conditioner - leave it in for a good few minutes - 10- 20 maybe - and then get the Denman and the wide toothed comb. Slowly rinse and comb out starting at the bottom.
LeKair Cholesterol? If so, chances are you waaaaaaaay over-protein'd your hair.
If this is the case, deep condition with a moisturizing conditioner (no protein) for a good 20 minutes (at least), RINSE, then apply a moisturizer and seal with a heavy oil. It'll take a couple days for your hair to return back to normal, but that's what worked for me when I accidentally went overboard with the protein.
You could try deep conditionig overnight with a moisturising conditioner. Just saturate your hair with conditioner, cover with a shower cap/ plastic bag, and then a stocking cap or something similar if you need to hold it in place.
I do that sometimes if my hair is particularly dehydrated / over-proteined. That usually gets it back to normal fairly quickly.
I was in the same position years ago when I began to experiment with doing my own hair. Suave CLarifying might be too harsh. I know nothing about LeKair, maybe it does not add moisture, just coats the hair.
I would suggest, like the other ladies using a pure moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, and when your hair is damp adding a moisturizing conditioner mixed with a bit of oil and then tie your hair down with a silk, satin, or polyester scarf.
I recommend: Keracare hydrating detangling poo and Humecto conditioner. THEY WORK!! Perhaps some Elucence or Humectress as your leave in mixed with olive oil. However, there are tons of other moisturizing products. Look for glycerin high on the ingredient list. You can also do a search on the board to find other recommendations.
