well, it aint quite sanna lathan, but i will be adding some more length to it and making some minor tweeks as well this week...just a little bit longer i think..anyhoo..i put a full description as to how i did it..

ps, i never brought any hair
this is the same hair i brought from lugos about 5mos ago..the good thing about lugos hair is it is reusable..just wash and store and u can get lots of uses out of it..so its deffinitly worth the xtra bucks..

I've never done a weave on myself before. What is the purpose of the weaving net?
 
thnx yall..the net...well it eliminates having to braid your hair in a special way b/c the net is what ur actully sewing the weave on to..plus it flatten out your braids..so u have no lumps or bumps..its really great..anytime i weave, i use the net..
 
Thanks, asummertyme. I've been toying with the idea of giving myself a weave. Yours looks wonderful, like it's your own curly hair.

Where did you get your hair from?
 
Your weave looks great. The hair blends very well.
Did you left it air dry or did you use a curling iron. Anyway it looks great.
 
Your hair looks great /images/graemlins/laugh.gif .... why have I been hearing so many bad things about Lugo's /images/graemlins/crazy.gif . How exactly did you braid the parts closest to your left out hair line. Basically, if you had posted a side shot fo your braids how would that look?

Tia, i got the hair from lugo's hair factory..
zanaibar..i let it air dry and took some random pieces and i hot curled it but not many..i did that this time but, ima buy some jehri rods and keep the hot iron out my hair..
blaxa..i think the hair is called soft wave..and i have a tad bit of spanish wave mixed with it.
ms kenesh, there is no maintenence..lol, i love this style b/c, u can wash and go..just make sure u add some kinda concoction to keep the curl defined, wash and condition like your own hair..the hair i have in my head, i have used it previously..i just took care of it..
kaddy, give it a try...when u get ur days off...its easy

Great job! Maybe thi sis what I need to do...try a net. you just sew it around the edges. I was going to go to a salon because i am tired of quick weaving...maybe I will try this with a corkscrew curl.....

Assumertyme, you've officially inspired me. I've been brainstorming low maintenance styles that look cute with zero manipulation. I knew I wanted to do a weave but I wanted to do something that gives me the option to wash and go (with the top front of my hair out) and I also wanted to have the option to flatiron. You've definitely shown me hte light.

Question: I'm very oblivious to many hair suppliers so please tell me about Lugo's or point me to a link that discusses them. Can I flat iron this hair as often as necessary? Can I curl this hair with rods or by doing braid outs? How much does it cost for this hair?

I'd appreciate some feedback.

sweetnic..ok let me see if i can help u..lugo's does not have a site that i know of..as a matter of fact i just came home from there, i brought a few more dollars worth of new hair to make it longer...depending on how full u want it, it will run u anywhere from 125-150 bucks and thats also depending on the length that u want it..this hair curls up so u wanna make sure u get the right length for the style you want, also with this kinda hair i would not blow it out or flat iron it..i would not come out right and the hair would look bushy, if u want a more versitile hair , i would go with the spanish wavy and that is a more of a wavy kinda hair and it looks like it can be straitened and flat ironed..and i would mix the spanish wavy with some strait hair if u wanna go for a strait and some times wavy kinda look and also briad outs..but with the hair i have u can use rods to give it that defined curled look, u can alos hot curl it as much as u would like..

And what do you do? Sew the net onto your cornrows and then sew the hair onto the net? It's looks GREAT /images/graemlins/smile.gif

WOW...That is gorgeous!!! I need you to come over and do my hair!! I have some questions:

1.) Can you find this hair in a bss or do you have to specifically buy it from Lugos?
2.) How did you get the curls to look so defined? Do you have to keep wetting your hair to achieve that look?

***Sorry for all the questions, but your making me want to give this style a try!
