Ok, I am broken hearted and numb, what can I do with my hair?

I had an earth shattering argument with my SO this morning, one that completely puts you in a state of shock. I'm not that numb though. because I am still concerned with my hair. I am washing and DC'ing today, but I am way too emotionally drained to sit through a :swearing:rollerset.

I am relaxed, but transitioning to texturizer and a, SL. Can anyone suggest something I can do to my hair other than rollersetting after my wash today?

Sorry about your situation. Try a brait-out with some rollers on the ends, airdry or use a dryer.

You can try a wet doobie as well with 2 rollers on tHe top for a straight look with volume and dry under the dryer

Good luck :)

I don't have a suggestion for your hair (sorry!) But I'm sorry about the argument. Those are super-draining/devastating. I admire the fact that you are doing your hair because self-care is especially important at times like these. Keep your head up!

I love the support here. I think I'll try to put them in twists for a twist out style tomorrrow. I am looking for tutorials now, if anyone has a link to a twist out tutorial, I am forever in your debt.

Try not to stress too much over it because stress is the #1 destroyer of your hair!:ohwell:

Agreed! My friend had luscious BSL hair but because of her man problems, she is barely SL.:ohwell:

Buns or something low maintenance should be best. I've been rocking my "Megatek Bun" all week.

So sorry about the argument. I COMPLETELY understand how u feel. Those suckers seem to come out of nowhere. But anywho back to the hair. I did smthg different last night that will completely take me off of wet rollersets. I airdried my hair and then used my caruso rollers afterwards and then wrapped my hair. Came out perfect. Just like a wet set. Hth sweetie

Hope you situation gets better......

I don't have a link to a twist out tutorial, however, I do them often. After washing and DC'ing, I add leave in or whatever moisturizer I want to the wet hair, then do 8 flat twists and add green magnetic rollers to the ends. I'll airdry or sit under the dryer.
My dryer broke on my yesterday, so I airdried in a ponytail. Then last night I sprayed a mix of glycerin, water and AVJ to my hair to get it a little damp and did the same process of adding 8 flat twists and my rollers. Went to sleep and my hair looks exactly the same as when I do them on soaking wet hair.

I have pics in my fotki of my hair with the flat twists and rollers on the ends if that helps any....
