I use it once in a while for hot oil treatments but I never mix oils into my conditioner, seal with it,or oil my scalp etc.Anybody else hate oil?:hide:

My relaxed hair absolutely hated oils. I only tried coconut and olive oil and stopped there because my hair responded so badly to them. My hair seemed dryer and was breaking off using these oils. I was so mad because it seemed like it was helping everyone else who was using it.
Now, my natural hair loves them! I am now an oil-junkie!

I do. I keep meaning to try coconut oil some day, especially after a press because I remember it being great for hair from my childhood. We would not use pure virgin coconut oil, but never the less, I seem to recall people having soft hair from using the refined one.

I know EVOO turned my hair into a brush. But that's been my experience with a lot of products anyway, hence my no-leave-in regimen.

I don't. I always used too much and ended up staining my silk scarves. Yuck.

I would prefer not to use them (just rub some lotion in my hair) but I get great results with it.

Glad I'm not alone. :giggle: My hair does fine without sealing though...
