That would actually be a good topic here bc I have been wondering about the effects of sex on one's hair. The rubbing and stuff. Off to search I know I sound liek I am being silly but I am dead serious

Two suggestions:

Who says you have to lay down to do it...;)

And make him the underdog...;) ;) ;)

I'm a member there too, and those guys are really sweet. There's another section on the forum for talking about issues and we got into a really good discussion one week about the black social identity. There are some very enlightened brothers there. . . with waves of course.

and they have brushing regimens too.

I talked about this with my BF. I gave him the link. I thought he was going to laugh just like I did.

Well, he told me he found it nice "just like P Diddy's waves"
I was like "what  "

I was not laughing anymore...I don't want my BF to have a brushing regimen !!!!

Maybe I'm old fashined, but hair and beauty stuff are MY thing !!!
Next time he's going to ask me what hair mask to choose...NO WAY :naughty:

ok - I hope ya'll have 2 computers in the house or ya'll going to battling over the computer long hair care forums for you vs 360 waves for him! I can see ya'll now!

This is too funny. My SO always gets questions about how he gets his hair to wave...and he just looks dumbfounded and says..."sportin' wave man." NOw we know there is a secret society of wave enthusiasts.

Truthfully tho, I'd be a little leary of a guy who read a forum like that. I just feel like there is no manyl way to tell another dude his hair is "spinnin'" tight. I dont know....

Thank God we do not live in the same house so we don't have one computer for us two, but if I ever find this site on his computer....I tell ya i'm gonna be UPSET :perplexed

quote-
"Raw" waves + baking soda= that crack! LOL"

:lachen: :lachen: :lachen: I don't think I remember a day when I laughed as hard as I did in a 4 hour stretch.

:lachen: :lachen: :lachen: :lachen: :lachen: OMG !!! I'm laughing so hard, my tummy is hurting.
But I'm worried about my BF, I hope he's not taking notes and stalking the site.
Mmmmhhh, I hope his english is not good enough. I already find it difficult to understand myself...

Lol i know right, i liked some of the tips they gave, so traight to the point. Its nice to see men educated about hair...especially that whole "good hair" debate they had going, one dude was talking bout he sent/gave the discussion to his professor (who is blakc) to read, lol thats deep

:lachen: :lachen: :lachen: This is crackin me up. We used to use the term 'wolfin' wayyyyy back in the days up in Pittsburgh. Its a negative term meanin your hair is nappy and not done. Like you would say my hair is wolfin and i needs ta get it done asap. some people spell it as 'woofing' i'm not sure which is the correct slang spellin....

nomoweavesfome said:
their "wolfing" is equivalent to our "NG"
botom line "new growth"

I'm still trippin and can't stay outta there

I think i'll go lurk on that board and then share the tips with him.... and i aint tryin to see him with a brush in his hand all darn day like the boys used to do back in high school. un un...

Yeah, that is scary !!!

He already has long hair and has got to get his cornrows done every two weeks. That's enough haircare I tell ya !!! wanna look fly? that's fine by me...But don't come up talking about the difference between conditionners/deep conditionners and stuff like that !!! Don't start no hair regimen with e-buddies either !!!
Don't want to see no brush or comb in your pocket all day !!!

Can you imagine seeing him doing these hair battles
