Watch out ladies, there's a class action suit against the makers of Easy Straight and Haime Munoz, there are horror stories out there esp. about the 3-month, 1-month and straighteners, nothing negative yet about the temp. blow drying gel. The company has ZERO sympathy for clients with damaged hair also.
If you find something about the blowdrying gel please post it. TIA

I used it, both tex'd and natural.
Both times it did absolutely nothing for my head but make it smell like eggs... and dry it out like straw. :nono:

is this a perm? is it like copa?

eta: i've seen this stuff in the stores and avoided it b/c i just assumed that perms advertised for whites should not be used on my hair. i know that's stupid thinking seeing as how i use other hair products advertised for whites. I want to know what is in this stuff that would make the woman in the third link's hair lose its color. That is scary!

I remember reading about it a few years back and noticing that it had no neutralization step :nono:

It's a relaxer system mainly marketed towards non-blacks.

what worried me is how the blogger said the directions said you could use as little or as much of it as you wanted and then you could use as little or as much of the following "conditioners" as you wanted. it sounded like the later steps might be meant to neutralize but they didn't seem like an exact process.

Thanks for posting! :)

I've seen Easy Straight products in the Dollar store. I've picked them up a few times, read the ingredients and put them right back on the shelf. Something kept telling me not to buy them.

I've seen this stuff a million times but I've always ignored it thinking that it was just for white women or type 3 or lower hair. I'm very type 4+

I hope those women are okay. :(
