October 2013...What Did YOU Buy This Week?? (Hair Care Edition)

What?! EnExitStageLeft, I bought it cuz you said you liked it.  I was like, "If I don't like this, I can probably give it to EnExit." lmao

ETA: The edge tamers last probably a few hours on me and then it's "Poof! Back to reality...Ooops there goes humidity." :look:

Froreal3

I like it on straight hair, it lays my edges to the gods.

But then I was like.......Let me try it on air dried hair. LAWD I LOOKED A HAM ALL DAMN DAY! My co-workers kept asking me was I ok? :lachen:

Are there any komoza discount codes around?

My referral code-xC9wem

How to use a referral code:

Create a new account with komazahaircare.com; at the end of the form there is a space to enter the referral code you would like to use; after submitting the new account and referral code you may begin to shop and receive your 5% discount at the time of checkout.

Froreal3 I have have the curls product too. That stuff barely holds down my baby edges. I'll stick to straight gel from here on out, pomades or edges tamers don't do much for me....ors, hicks, curls, syntonics, keracare....all of them sucked

Damn I love that syntonics One it makes my hair lay down smoooooooth but it's too damn expensive and hard to get where I am

DoDo

I needed to take it out on somebody. :look:

I'd been combing sites all weekend anyway looking for something to buy....so I'm glad she mentioned it.:yep:

The Scalp Butter and the HTN was on my list anyway.

The Cocoa Butter is something I had been wanting to try but douldn't figure out if folks were talking about the Cocoa Whip or the Cocoa Bean Smoothing Lotion?

The cocoa bean smoothing lotion has been well loved for some time now ( I never tried it- I probably should though).

The cocoa bean whip is relatively new, but that is the one EnExitStageLeft loves. It has honey in it so I am slow to press the trigger. Honey makes my hair sticky, stickiness leads to tangles and, well you know the rest.

@DoDo

Yeah, it was confusing. I couldn't tell if it was the Whip or the Smoothing. I guess folks like both. Which is good.

I like just about everything I've tried from DB.

However, I wasn't a huge fan of the Daily Leave-In or the Peach Kernel Hair Milk.

Those were too runny for me. Folks seem to like those too.

JCP had a 1 day get extra 25% off anything in the store and BOGO 50% on haircare. So I brought a 1 inch FHI platform flat iron, Keracare edge tamer and CHI silk infusion all for $86.00 total. I have to go back this week and get some Keracare shampoo and conditioners
