I like it following their curl milkI bought CRN Almond Jai Twisting Butter which I have just used to braid up my twa. I love the smell. I think that it's more of a moisturizer than a sealant (clearly feels water-based). I hope that it will perform well on my hair.
That one smells similarly delicious.I like it following their curl milk
Lol yesThat one smells similarly delicious.
Tell me more please!Mustard seed oil - my hair better touch the floor by next summer!
Naffiing.
This will probably change within the next 24 - 48 hrs. Im gonna swing by the indian store for 'samosas'
Girl I can't seem to get enough Indian stuff either so knock yourself out. I may be getting some more powders soon. I need henna and indigo as well along with some ayurveda oils. Brahmi oil is also on my list and I will most likely get that one from www.banyanbotanicals.com. I already have their Bhringraj oil in the liter sized bottle.
@halee_JGirl! Have you tried the bhringraj oil yet? It seems to do wonders on my scalp. Never tried bhrami oil (yet) I do love the powder in my hair wash I figured since I have all the herbs I can make infusions myself but of course the question is when??! I want to take a "hair-cation" lol
Nah no sale

It was actually pretty good. It was a little expensive though. I used Bhringraj oil before years ago and I remember that my experience with bhringraj was better, in that my hair felt softer back then and healthier somehow. So it would be interesting to see how my hair responds to bhringraj oil this time around. How did you like the healthy hair oil?
I’m swinging by tomorrow to see if they have Kalpi Tone.
I got the APB sub box in bath and body.
I’m not sure yet. I really want to just try it in DC first. Eventually move to incorporating it into an oil. That’s next on my list I dont think the grocer here carries it although Ive been asking ( they may order it) how do you plan on using it?
Whaa? Ok, ma’am.. I need deets How does this stuff make your hair feel? how are you supposed to use it? Talk to meeee
Went to CVS for nail polish remover. Ended up with:
- banana clips (3pk)
- spiral ponytail holders (8pk)
- seamless ponytail holders in small and large (think I may like these better than the goody ouchless)
- T-shirt drying turban
... and no polish remover
This worked for me!Naturally Curly

Long Aid Naturals Conditioner
Knocked them off my BF list. Shop40 gave me 40% off, got the code from a friend. For inquiring minds, won't hurt to try .
@halee_J
Kalpi Tone pretty much strengthens hair at the root and hair shaft, as well as promote hair growth. When I used it years ago on relaxed hair, it left my hair noticeably stronger, softer, darker, and full of body. This will be my first time using it on curly hair and I know it will not disappoint.
I will use it in my henna for a deeper, richer, color deposit, as a paste on my scalp and hair for growth and strength, and you can also use it as a tea rinse for strength as well.
I will be adding a tablespoon of it to my Curly Proverbz Growth tea rinse to spray on my hair and scalp a few times a week (I will be making this tea later today, by the way). Adding some essential oils each of lavender, rosemary, peppermint and tea tree wouldn't hurt either.
You can use pretty much the same way you use amla, brahmi and all the other ayurveda powders. You can even add it to your cowash and deep conditioners.
