So when are you going to relax your hair? I'd do it STAT before the locking starts again. Your hair is gorgeous BTW, I'm so glad you didn't have to cut off all your hair.

If its not raining, I'm going to JC Penny to get it done on Saturday. And to think, I was going last Saturday to get a relaxer but I didn't because of the rain. I caint even imagine what would have happened if I would have done that..........

whooo, after reading this entire thread... I need some cowboy magic ASAP! I plan on getting my hair braided and living in twists until the spring and I know I will need a product like that on hand.

SF, I'm sooo glad you didn't have to do any major cutting at your long beautiful hair! I know that ordeal was horrid.

So sorry this has happened to you. The same happened to me several weeks ago. It took hours and I had to have someone else detangle for me, I was so frustrated, I wanted to just cut! I ended up driving an hour away to purchase some Cowboy Magic, it was the only thing to do it for me. You may not have that option tonight, but I learned to keep some on hand. I applied mounds and mounds of conditioner and let it sit. It helped some, but when we put the Cowboy Magic on, it melted the knots away; amazingly. I hope someone has another remedy for right now, I know how you feel.

That Cowboy Magic Detangler is the TRUTH. I keeps that around, and I don't care how tangled your hair is, THAT STUFF WORKS!!!! Trust....

My Aunt whos a cosmotologist and who did my hair last week told me to get some Stabilizer Plus after I told her about this debacle. She told me its a great overall detangler and she also said its a good product to have around. I think I'll try it b/c I always seem to remember her having it around her house when I was growing up.

Yep its at Sallys. I have looked at it a thousand times but never bought it.
