I saw a 33 oz tub of nourishing conditioner on sale for $4.99 at JC Penneys this week. Wasn't too sure of purchasing it bcuz I'm wondering what does it do? Maybe replenish what shampoo strips or does it have moistuizing abilities...??? I'm sure it's a good buy though. I've done a search and nothing has rendered.

So any advice would be greatly appreciated my hair sistas...!!! :yep:

Maybe it means its got vitamins in the ingredients? B vitamins, panthenol, Vitamin E, etc. Or it may just be a marketing term.
Subscribing to see if anyone knows for sure.

"Nourishing" is just a marketing term, like laidbak said. Technically, you can't nourish anything that is dead like hair is. I know some companies do use the term when they have extra vitamins or whatever in the conditioner. From what I've seen "nourishing" usually is the same as moisturizing, but check the ingredients to be sure. If it says it's supposed to reconstruct (or other similar language) as well, then it may be more protein based.

IA: With LaidBak and msa!:yep: When I tend to think of "Nourishing" I think more of like a Biotin, a Keratin, Silk Aminos, Wheat, Oat Proteins, etc....Something they "Marketed" that is suppose to feed (stengthen) the hair.

When I think of "Moisturizing" I think of Conditioners that have more conditioning properties to (soften) the hair. EVOO's, EVCO's, Almond, Jojobas etc.....

IMO....................
