Not so fabulous combo?

Honi

There is no board.
As part of our experimentation with different products and our hair we sometimes trip and fall. This is certainly evident if your new to the game and trying to find out what works for you. Since many people post results of fabulous combinations used with products (whether in the same product line or not), has anyone had any experiences from using products together which resulted in not so fabulous results?

For example, if I CO wash with QH cholesterol and use Giovanni’s direct leave in I get no slip.

If I use an ACV rinse and use either Elucence or Keracare I lose the slip from both.

What have you discovered during your hair journey?

I have to use Kenra MC on my hair while it's still dripping wet and only leave it for a few minutes if I want to get slip from it.

My Biosynthesis works best with it's accompanying shampoo which happens to be a clarifying shampoo. (don't want to clarify on a regular basis or anything)

Hey I was a newbie, OK?

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny conditioner only works well with Paul Mitchell Super Skinny shampoo or Elasta QP
Creme Conditioning shampoo.

After I took out my rollers from a rollerset, I sprayed Profectiv Oil Sheen Spray all over my hair along with Suave Spritz...made my hair feel hard and it was unmanageable. I took that Suave Spritz back to the store after the first time trying it even though it was 89 cents
