this was sooooo me:perplexed ....i would try to even my hair all the time, and it would still grow back uneven...what i lerned to do is not cut my hair and allow the rest of my hair to catch up to the longest piece...not only has it grown longer, and has gotten thicker;)

I could have typed this post myself,if you go to my fotki you see how my hair kept getting shorter so now I just let it grow.
My hair has gotten thicker to but I think it's because I had so many layers that I cut away

I feel ya'll I thought that cutting was helping but I have found that I am not getting any length. So I am staying away from the scissors until I reach bra strap!!!

i hate to get my ends trimmed unless i absolutely have to
last time was Feb19 when i got my last relaxer
and i'm not allowing my hairdresser [since 2002] to trim my ends cuz she one scissor happy lady.. im not cutting till maybe sept or later
my ends look good.. i've been conditioning well

i certainly wont be trimming for at least the next 2 years.

Same here. I won't be trimming until 2009, at least.

When I was natural I went many years without trims. Not really sure why I even started.:ohwell:

I trimmed a little yesterday and I wasn't supposed to. :spank: I'm going to rededicate myself to the no scissors movement until APL (Sept-ish).

Im in! I soo want to meet my APL goal by this summer so I am so in with this challenge. I have not had a trim or even a dusting in five months. Mainly bc I am with a new stylist and I just want to watch how she trims/dusts before I let her loose on my head. I think she will be ok for a dust but I am not trying to lose any of the length I have gained.

I'm in too! I just got a major trim 3 weeks ago when I got a relaxer; my hair is just collar bone length now (the longest it's ever been). I will not trim again until I get an inch past BSL length. Which means I'm going to have to put in some major over-time protecting my ends......no heat, baggying, protective styles daily...... :look:

I'm in on this one. I'm too scissor happy. My hair was very close to bra-strap length, but I got scissor happy and chopped off a few inches. Now I'm just a little past my shoulders :ohwell: . But my hair is much thicker than it was before. I'm serious this time, granted my hair remains thick (twist-outs, deep conditioning, etc. to help me out).

Bumping...How many of u ladies are still on the No Scissor Challenge?....I have dusted off split ends since my last post, but NO TRIMS:nono:....my hair has thickened tremendously:yep:...I am sure it had something to do with my layers growing back in naturally, allowing my hair to catch up with the longest ends:rolleyes:...because of this technique,I am 1.5inches away rom BSL...no trimming for me.EVER :yep:
