Of course I know better than that, but rapper TI doesn't. He stated that he is going to rep the hood, where you see no light skin chicks with real long hair, if they do its a hair

People still think that if your hair is very long that you have to be

So that what it is, my weave comes straight out of my head. It is a new type of weave, it grows like it is real... (Just joking) We are all mixed when it all comes done to it. I am one the few darkest in my whole family, but that didn't stop me from growing my hair long, cutting it off and growing it long again.

I am mixed....so when it comes to my hair: i say i'm all black because there isn't anything mixed about my hair: my moms hair was the dominant gene I got....as for TI (or TIP) unfortunately thats wat ppl think. I use to be the same way too, when I saw a girl w/ long hair: i was thinking to myself thats a weave...its not that everyone says we can't grow long hair: i think ppl who don't have long hair or doesn't know how to care for their hair and doesn't achieve length assumes that anyone w/ long hair has a weave.

black girls notice other girls w/ long hair. The media to me plays a part too: the girls I see on TV are mixed: light-skin w/ green eyes w/ curly long hair (ciare, cassie, natasha, ashanti, cheetah girls, nivea, mya) mixed "other than black" (Amerie, Chile' [tlc], truth hurts)
