Well, I tried a no heat style today that seems to work nice. I washed and conditioned with Keracare then I applied some PCA for moisture along with my Shear Splendor serum. I let the hair hair dry about 60% and then put it in a simple bun with a hair claw to hold the back.
I am going to rinse again with a conditioner and see how I do tomorrow. I realized that what I have to limit is moisturizers with oil in them. Those pull too much on my hair and make it snap because it is weighed down. As long as I use some moisture and a serum to seal it, I think I can work this. And this clasp does not cause me to pull on the top of my hair. We'll see how it goes!

, and usually, I have at least a palm full. Today, maybe about 20 strands were in the comb. I'm trying to stay on the no heat regimen until at least August (I'm going on vacation), and after that, I'll probably resume no heat until winter (I'm in Chicago, so airdrying will be difficult). Anyway, so far, I'm very pleased
