Nioxin Recharging complex.....

I just got these vitamins today and I noticed the bottle says it is a multi vitamin. I thought they were regular hair vitamins so now I am confused. Does this mean I have to stop taking my daily multi Centrum and replace it with these? Someone please let me know cause I don't want to be taking to multi vitamins if I should not be.

I don't know the answer for sure because I am still taking the nioxin and my centrum daily. It may be overkill though??

I think it's multivitamin in the sense that it contains the daily suggested dose of more than one vitamin . There is no way this can be a regular dietary multivitamin a la Women's 1 A Day and Centrum -- Nioxin doesn't even contain substantial levels calcium or iron, two key minerals often found in womens diet supplement. Nioxin is a multivitiman for hair, skin and nails, not an overall diet multivitamin

Personally, I would keep taking the dietary multivitamin and the nioxin because you're getting different things out of each one. I always thought that excess vitamins and minerals were just flushed through your body anyway but please don't quote me on that, I'm no doctor or anything. If you're really confused, it may be best to run it by your doctor -- you don't want to get toxic levels of certain vitamins and minerals.

Thanks, you have bought up some good points. It does not seem to have all of the minerals my centrum does but then again I want to be on the safe side so I will ask my doctor, I don't want to be doing any damage to my insides.

I'm taking Nioxin and my multi-vitamin. I looked at the ingredients and I'm cool to take both. I notice that with the Nioxin my urine doesn't change color. I think that's a good sign.

So are you going to report on your growth? This is my first time taking Nioxin and I'm on day 4. I'm hiding my hair until December so I won't really be able to tell if it helped with growth or not. I'd love to know your results.

This is off-topic, but Ellis.....your hair looks great! You've had great growth since starting your journey. I hope to start taking the nioxin recharge this Aug. and see if it helps with my own growth. I will continue taking my other vitamins as well.
