Hello everyone,
I have been lurking in this thread for awhile. Now that school is over I have the time to post. I really love this forum. There is so much useful information here. I really admire the supportive vibes that you give each other.

I don't know the type of hair that I have. My hair is relaxed and about 2 inches past my shoulder. I am in the process of transitioning (10 weeks post relaxer). I am using alot of the information that I have read in the threads. I am a card carrying product junkie.

I am using MTG (applying after i shampoo to cut the smell), Lanza's straight line shampoo and conditioner, Roux Porosity Control Moisture Pak,
Mizani Thermelastic leave in protector and I bought a K cutter comb. I have also been wearing protective styles (buns/phony pony's). I also use Curlaway Curl relaxer for my new growth (amazing!!!). I don't take any vitamins, (I'm broke now) but I have increased my water intake. I need to win the lottery so i can buy and try everything that I have read about.

My hair breakage and shedding has decreased tremendously. I want to thank all of you for all of the information and good/bad reviews that you have shared. This forum is the source of my information and inspiration. I hope I will be able to share some of the same to you. I know this is long but I wanted to share this. Thank you Long Hair Care forum members.

Hey sexyrn!
Welcome to the forum, :newbie:

It sounds as though you have a good routine, You don't need to buy all the products on here that are raved about. in my opinion you have one of the best ones, MTG. How are you finding it? Have you noticed any growth?:)
Describe your hair after washed, One of the members will probably be able to tell you what hair type you have. ;)

Yes, I am a newly graduated RN after being an LPN for 12 Years. Its hard to tell what my hair is like after washing because I have a relaxer. My new growth comes in very wavy and kind of matted if I don't put something in it to tame it. The MTG has made my new growth thicker and my hair softer. I can't tell if it is growing any faster yet.

Well, you have QUITE the comprehensive list here, and I think you're off to one heck!! of a start.
BTW: Congrats on graduation...

Welcome Ma'am!

It sounds like you're off to a good start. Definitely farther ahead than I was when I joined.

Good luck!
