Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment! I thought over the decision back and forth for months before I decided to go ahead and give the relaxer another try. I was really wanting to do something different with my hair that would enable me to go curly/straight as I pleased (and I was sick of all the detangling involved as a natural). I didn't want to completely take away all of my texture, so I found myself a happy medium. I'm still pleased with my decision.
Thanks for the compliments, everyone! I'm over here laughing to myself a little bit because this is the first time that I've ever heard that my hair looks thick! Before my hair used to be stick straight and very thin-looking (due to overprocessing plus tons of breakage). I'm loving how things can turn around with better hair care practices.
