Newbie in Need of Help!!

Hello Everyone,
I am a newbie in need of a little help. How do I maintain a rollerset? I have just started growing my hair out and I am on my own little no heat challenge. It has been a week since I used direct heat and I honestly notice a difference in my hair already. My hair is ear length right now and I just set it and then usually finger comb and put a headband on, but how can I keep it looking neat? What should I do at night? Pin curl? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you asked about pin curls? I would suggest this method to help maintain the curl.

Either pin-curls or wrap. I am not able to do pin-curls until my hair reaches collar bone length, because of the thickness; the curls are too bulky or too tight.

In that case, I always wrap my hair.
