I need to be adopted!

I'm brand spankin' new. My hair is a wreck that I usually keep covered in weave ( I'm in black glue rehab). I'm pretty good at following instructions and I've saved up for my grow out process to get whatever it is I need to but I need help. Hair Damage anonymous counselor. Something.
I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding in March so that's my goal date. Right now it's mid-neck with short bangs ( remnants of a chinese bang era that I quickly changed my mind on) and I have no clue what type it is. All I know is that I have super soft, thin hair but a lot of it. It holds no curls, no nothing for that matter. Currently, it's relaxed but relaxer for me usually means straight for about a week.. or until I wash it. Then it waves up and I have to hunt for my flat iron.

enough of the deperate ramblings of a hair junkie...

:wallbash:

My name is Platinum and I need a big sister.:look: I'm a neck length, relaxed , semi-newbie. My hair was extremely damaged when I joined the site but has really improved in the last 6 months. It's still uneven but I don't plan to trim it until December.

I'm very serious about achieving long, healthy hair again. I ask lots of questions. PM me if you would like to help me.:yep:

Someone PLEASE adopt me!

I think I am a 3c/4a, but I have thin, fine hair. I have a fokti too. You can look and tell me if I am correct about my hair type.

Please adopt me. I don't post daily, but I do get on here and at least read the post and chime in when I have something to say. Can someone help me have hair like Pocahontas, Esani or Pinkskates without having to have it weaved in. :lachen: There hair is soooo pretty and long. I want that!!!!!:drunk:

I'd like to be adopted :yep:

I'm a 3b, 3c natural (highly textured). My curls a loosened a bit because of heat so now my hair has a texlaxed look.

I'd like to be adopted .....I'm a 4 "something", relaxed, and somewhat shoulder length...I won't be a bug a boo but I need advice on retention and protective styling....:drunk: My ultimate goal is BSL and at the rate my retention is it'll take me forever:perplexed

um, i am very much a newbie. this is actually the first thread i posted. and dont know where to begin. i guess i need to be adopted. i just want my hair to grow. My nape area wont grow at all and has been the same length since it was cut in "97", it is practically from my neck to my low ear just short, and dry . i just need some help. and i am still learning how to maneuver in this site.
thanks

I would like to be adopted as well. Someone who has transitioned successfully or is currently having a good transition. Guess I'm a 4a not quite sure though. So...let me kno:grin:

I want a big sister too :yep: I would love a 3b/3c/4a with a little Ayurvedic knowledge...but really I would just love someone cool. I'm natural but the relaxed, natural, texlaxed part doesn't really matter to me.

I could use a big sister. I am a natural 4b and beyond with super tight coils and severe shrinkage, lol. With my hair straighten I am now at APL:grin:.

My hair problems are: knots and tangles, styling my natural hair(I don't think anyone can help me with this, lol), and moisture, moisture, moisture...I am always looking for something that will keep my hair moisturized when it is dry and not just wet.

My only staples are: ayvuredics(spelling?), co-washing, steam, and OCT

*Looking around* I can be one of your big sisters, sorta. At the very least, we could be growing buddies. I'm getting better all the time. :drunk: At least I'm not half bad with the styling. None of your staples are any part of my routine but I may still be able to offer something. Mscocoface might be a better match for you, though. Mscoco, where are you?!

LOL Not to sound desperate or anything...But someone please adopt me! My stylist quit on me (she has a good reason...she's having back problems)..Eventually, she'll get back to work, but she forsees a good 3-4 months out of the shop! Ummmm I just found her, and she's awesome...Plus...I'm not from LA (tha boot)...I don't know ANYTHING about finding a another stylist! (gulp!)

Pick me!! I'm definitely a newbie. I would love a big sis to help me out. I barely have over 20 post. Also I have plats I wonder if that will be an issue :cry3:
