Vets, what DOES make a newbie a newbie?

Posts? Time of membership?

Oh if it goes by post count then maybe I'm not a newbie. I'm not claiming vet status either... so I'm just a regular ol' member! :lachen:

I'd love to have a hair big sister too. Any 4a transitioning/natural vets with a similar hair goal (ultimately MBL or WL)? Please adopt me:yep:

ETA: I'm starting Ayuervdic regimen too, so if my future big sis currently has a similar regimen that would be awesome!

I don't believe the number of posts has anything to do with your status as a newbie or vet because you could've joined last week and already have 600 posts (granted, that person has WAY too much time on their hands). I think it has more to do w/how long you've been around and your "experience". Just guessing. It w/b nice for a true vet to chime in...

I would love to have little sister or two but ONLY if they are active posting members of the board. Pm me if you are interested:)

Um, I don't know if I'm a newbie or a vet, either. So, um, if you're a 4b natural with dense hair and you know more about it than me, please adopt me. If you know less about it than me, I'll adopt you!

I'm a newbie, only been around a week. Adopt me!!! Feed me with knowledge to make my hair grow thick and long. I want my childhood hair back!! Waaaa.........

Ok, you can tell I'm a :babyb: with all the damn cryin' and whatnot!

I definitely could use a big sister... :prettyplease:

I am freshly BC'd - in my TWA stage now. Looking to grow and stay natural for... like ... ever :) So - I need help because I did 23 years of relaxed hair and had THAT down to a science... so I'm TRULY new at this.

I promise not to chat your ear off....

um... :look:

well... :nono:

I can't promise that :drunk: But I could really use some help (in addition to the WONDERFUL advice I've gotten thus far!!

Thanks in advance!!

I echo this sentiment. If you're a 3c/4a texlaxed head and have questions or need help, give me a bump. I'm personally unofficially transitioning w/no pland for a BC (as of right now) so anyone that can offer any input/guidance, please PM me.

I'm a 4a relaxed head who would like to be adopted. I'm also starting a new ayurveda regimen so any vets who could help i would greatly appreciate it.

I'd love to adopt one or two newbies

Cieramichelle, you should do this thread like the adopt a member thread in OT.

The OP posted all of the adoptors strong suits, what they could help with and how many members they wanted to adopt (this was all in the original post, on the first page so everyone could see the list) The adoptees would write the op, telling them who they wanted to adopt them.
