Minimize breakage/ maintain AS MUCH LENGTH AS POSSIBLE THIS YEAR.

I know I had a lot of growth in '05 because my colored roots have grown out, but not much to show for it. NOT THIS YEAR!!!!

Take more progress pics.

My New Years Hair resolutions are :

To try not to use so much heat.

Wear my hair curly more often. Somehow it seems to thrive that way.

Try not to trim so often. At least wait for 3 months.

Try different styles.

use less heat
try to stretch relaxer to 16 wks
keep hair moisturized and thick all the way to the ends
grow to bra strap length
learn how to successfully rollerset my hair
minimize shedding and breaking
find a routine that works for my hair and stick to it

to take one day at a time.
Be patient with the progress of my hair
deep condition hair once a week
keep up on regular trimms

1. Only use the flat iron when I get touch ups.
2. Reduce touch-ups to 2-3 times a year. I am stretching for 20 weeks this time!
3. Dust ends so that I can retain length.
4. Be more assertive with telling stylists what I want done to my hair, because ultimately, it's my hair and responsiblity.
5. Continue going to the Dom. salon.
6. Reach my goal of brastrap length and continue on the road to mid back length!

1. To not use heat at all on my hair
2. To grow another 4-6 inches within the next 6 months
3. To accept and love my hair texture for what it is
4. To take more pics and put them in fotki which is looking quite bare!
5. Start using the products I want to truly use on my hair regardless of cost or what my money is looking like
6. To trim splits more regularly
7. To be nearer to waist length by 07 and if im not? it'll finally be something im willing to accept
8. To keep my hair black as can be
9. To stop joining challenges if i cant stick to them :perplexed
10. To stop buying useless products that do NOTHING for me
11. Send all my old hair products to my sister to get rid of things
12. Protective style every other week for the whole week to ensure my hair's softness
13. No brush only comb in the shower and fingercomb
14. Deep condition regularly
15. Finally completely transition- maybe to go natural in a couple years!
16. Learn how to cornow (i got it just need to get the parts straight), flat twist, and strawset my hair

i will struggle to keep the scissors out of my hair.... LOL

That's one of my hair goals as well. I have trimmed another inch off last week, because I thought me ends looked thin.

My other goals are;

To roll my hair every night.
Take my vitamins
T leave my hair alone as much as possible

To do something with my da*n hair!!! No more buns, ever!
Wear it natural or get a texturizer
Wear my hair down more
Get good at straightening my own hair

Stop pjism
Trim only 2x this year (on my own)
No heat for styling whatsoever
No coloring anymore :(
Keep up the moisturizing and protective styles (twists)

what??????? your ends looked fine to me....but i find the more i wear my hair out, the more i want to trim my ends... so it's beneficial for me to do the protective styling thing until my hair reaches its ultimate length.....

what type of rollers would you use to roll your hair at night????

I decided that for 2006 I am going to lose all of my excess weight all of it.
To limit my meat intake meaning chicken- I don't eat pork or seafood or beef.

Continue using Surge 14 and MTG faithfully
Drink 64 oz or more water a day.
Get up at 5 am and have a quite time -read my bible
Take my vitamins and Nioxin and primrose oil and flaxseed oil daily
Do a complete body cleanse
Work harder at work with integrity

What are your hair resolutions for 2006?

1. Remain on the 16-week touchup stretch without compromise.
2. Only blow-dry/flat-iron once every 4-5 weeks.
3. Do the baggie method more often in '06.
4. Finish current products before I buy new ones (no matter how bad the pj in me wants to buy, buy, buy).

*REACH BRA-STRAP
*STOP WEARING WEAVES
*EXPERIMENT WITH DIFFERENT COLORED RINSES; INSTEAD OF THE SAME 'OLE BLACK COLOR
*CONTINUE BEING CONSISTENT W/ MY REGIMINE

-Curb my PJ
-Perfect my rollersets
-continue taking my vitamins
-Open up a Fotki album
-continue wearing braids on and off throughout the year

I plan on getting more touch ups, various hair styles and experimenting with weaves. I continue to do mainly protective styles, invest in a ionic hood dryer=more rollersets, using more natural products.

Take better care of my ends
Detangle much more frequently
Stick with products that work and fight the PJ demon
More twists and learn more protective styles

Happy New Year! :D

Only get a touch up 4x this year
Continue taking my vits
Use hot oil treatments
Find and stick to products that work for my hair
Start an album
Drink more water
Stop eating fast food

FINALLY learn how to rollerset!! I'm realizing this would be WAY more beneficial than airdrying in a ponytail. I can't take the dryness and breakage anymore! :whyme: lol.

Learn how to actually do some hairstyles!! So tired of the ponytail/bun. I need to learn how to do some braid-outs & twist-outs.

HAPPY NEW YEAR LHCF!!!

-Maintain healthy hair.
-Continue to be consistent with my regimen.
-Protective styles (buns & braid-outs)

1. To get back into the haircare kick with daily buns, rollersets, and twistouts. Also using more natural/food conditioning treatments.
2. To find a stylist and a relaxer that can get my hair straight; I am tired of texrelaxed hair.
3. Refraining from the brush... it has caused my edges to be very thin :(
4. To be frugal with my haircare purchases.
