I think the reason my hair hasn't been turning out bone straight is because I based my scalp with too much Vaseline. (Yes, I like the bone straight look.) I've learned my lesson. And I've finally mastered the bun. Woohoo!:drunk:

ETA: Check the other one...sorry!

Your hair is coming along very nice. I love your bun. How did you create it?

Thanks in advance.

Congratulations on mastering the bun! It looks really really good!!!

APL by the end of 2006 is definately reachable for you....Good luck!

Beautiful bun! I wish I could even do a bun. My "bun" is a ponytail with the ends tusked under an ouchless band. That's the best I can do :ohwell: Does anyone know if that's bad for my ends?

I personally would not tuck my ends under an ouchless band or under anything that can add stress to my ends. I only use Good Hair Days pins to secure my buns. They are very safe and hold very well. My buns are very simple, just a low, loosely braided ponytail tucked under and held with Good Hair Days pins.

Blueabyss - your bun looks great!
