This is a new movie coming out in the fall. It's the story of Esther (my favorite bible story).... Interesting to see how it will be interpreted on the Hollywood screen.

I DO want to see this movie. I don't even go to the theaters, but I've been following the 'path' of this movie for about the last two and a half years. It was a 'dream' that Pastor Tommy Tenny had and he along with Matt and Laurie Crouch (TBN - Trinity Broadcasting Network) have been bringing this movie project together little by little.
Pastor Tenny's wife, Jeannie, who moves in the gift of the Psalmist sings a beautiful song which the Lord gave her "One Night with the King."
These are the beautiful words,
"...One night with the King, changes everything"...one day in His court can forever change my course. One moment in His presence, and I'll never be the same. One night with the King, changes everything.

All six of them hosted a TBN show (about 18 months ago), Tommy Tenny and his wife Jeannie; Matt and Laurie Crouch; and Juanita Bynum and her husband, Bishop Thomas Weeks. You could not touch the annointing that the Lord had on Prophetess Juanita while she sang this song. Powerful is not strong enough of a word! God was all in it.
One day, I hope to sing this as well, but only under God's annointing. It's too beautiful for 'show'!

I am excited about seeing this movie as well, though I will probably have to take a little road trip to see it. Tommy Tenney wrote the book Hadassah-One Night with the King, and the movie is being produced by Matt and Laurie Crouch. From the previews I saw on TBN, it seems to be pretty legit (i.e. no extra Hollywood spins on it). I know they said they drew a lot from the Jewish customs, etc. about the story of Hadassah. Has anyone read the second Hadassah book?
