My DD and I were looking at this in Walgreens the other day when I went to purchase some hair toys...I wanted it, but picked up some other cute clips...

I'm sure it would -- as long as you can get all your hair through when it is open at its widest, you're good. Just close it down as much or as little is needed to hold your ponytail. Actually it would probably be really cute with curly hair.

On the package it says, "Finally...a clip that can adjust to all hair types!" -- I actually think it may not be lying Even if you have super thick hair, you just wouldn't need to squeeze it closed very much for it to stay.

Probably it's also a nice alternative to those who have issues with headaches, etc. from tools that grip too tightly. It's very gentle

I've seen this and am alway intimidated by it lol. Glad to see someone use it...I also wonder how it would work with thick natural/texured hair...hmmmm! Maybe I'll attempt it!
