I bun everyday using 100% human hair wrapped and secured with bobbie pins which seems to work well for me, however, I am starting to get painful little bumps at my nape. I'm not sure what's causing this because the bun that I make is not tight and does not pull and I try to make sure my bobbie pins do not dig into my scalp.

To remedy this, I'm looking for other ways to wear my bun (i.e., hair scrunchie and/or clip-on bun). Do any of you know where I can purchase one of these? The hair scrunchie would have to be full because I have such a small ponytail and a little one wouldn't work for me.

I bought some of my scrunchies at www.tenderheaded.com . They have some large, silk ones that really help a bun out.

Some of the ladies wear sock buns using a dark (black) sock. I haven't done this yet so I'm not sure how to get started. But the sock buns look pretty.

I have a sock bun tutorial in my photo album. HTH;)

You can also bun with a long phony pony. This should help minimize some of the tension.
